PRE-OWNED. GOOD CONDITION. ** LISTING IS FOR TWO PIECES OF INDEPENDENCE IRONSTONE.**
1 - Vintage Covered Casserole or Soup Tureen - two-piece set. Independence Ironstone by Castleton China, Inc., Made in Japan. Casserole comes complete with the lid - with a built-in finial type knob - and handles built-in on each side. It also has a beautiful brown floral design called Bittersweet on the lid. It is octagon shaped and has one chip at the bottom rim of the base and the usual crazing that comes from years of use.
Covered Casserole stands 7" tall - including the lid. It is 9" in diameter and 3" deep.
2 - Vintage Independence Ironstone Cream Pitcher. Pattern is Bittersweet - same as the Lidded Soup Tureen. Pitcher has no chips or cracks, but does have the usual crazing and darkening from holding warm liquid over the years.
Pitcher stands almost 4" tall.
