A very decorative majolica compote, the top bowl decorated with a wreath supported by a kneeling cherub and raised on a stepped plinth. It has typical Minton style majolica bright jewel tone glazes and a crazing effect all over. Would make a unique centerpiece planter, soap dish or trinket holder.
In very good vintage condition with light signs of wear from age. There is a paint repair at the right side face of the cherub, because it facing down, so will not show when it stands on the table. Measures approx 6" x 6" x 12.2" tall.
