This is a Large Shiwan Mudman Chinese Fisherman Figurine 12 1/2 " x 9" signed Wanjiang a district in Guangdong Province, China during the 1970s. These traditional figures were hand-molded and glazed in vibrant and detailed colors.
The figure is crafted from high-quality clay by skilled artisans in China. They were often made by hand as a cottage industry, with variations in quality due to the involvement of multiple crafters.
This is a beautiful mixed high glaze and matte finish figurine of a Chinese 12 1/2” Fisherman holding a fish and Yoke holding 2 Buckets. Excellent Condition with No Chips, Cracks or Repairs.
