This beautiful vintage genuine mink that you are looking at came from Joseph Noonan Furs, a well-known furrier in New York back in the day.
It is a sleek black cape, called a clutch cape since it has pockets to put your hands in and clutch the cape around you.
It has a hook and eye closure in the front, is one-size-fits-all, and is fully lined.
The pelts are soft and luxurious to the touch.
This style cape is of equal length all around - back and front.
The mink is in great condition, no odors, stains, or tears.
Some measurments that may help you with size: approximately 19" across the shoulders; and approximately 21" long from shoulder to bottom hem.
This mink cape was given to me by my Mom.
I believe she had inherited it from her mother, my grandmother, which would make it date from about the 1950's. Considering its age, it is in wonderful condition.
