I bought this frame at an estate sale because its beautiful and in very good condition.
I didnt realize there was an image of a woman who appears to be in Edwardian dress that got bleached into the fabric of the backing.
It does have initials engraved at the top C. W. C.
There is a glass front. It looks like the image is on silk?
The backing is a dark purple velvet.
The back flap has one missing hinge but the frame still stands
Fits a 5x7 picture if you dont want the ghostly image peeking at you. Frame measures 8 tall 6.5 wide
Its very unusual.
