Original Galaxy Painting Art Artwork

This is an original piece. One of a kind. It's done in Oil Pastels and it's of the Orion Nebula. I did it on a piece of bristol vellum then mounted it on to a wooden board that I sanded and painted. I sealed it all together with a thick layer of crystal clear epoxy. I mixed in some chameleon color changing mica powder so it glistens as light hits it and gives it a really cool iridescent effect. This is a process that I personally came up with. It is a very unique piece. I have installed the hardware on the back side of the piece so it's ready to go up on your wall. No framing or anything like that required. Because it's mummified in epoxy and is mounted on wood it will not fade over time. It will stay bright and vivid for a lifetime. The piece is size 22x24 inches. I spent about 20 hours working on this over a period of a couple weeks. Thanks for checking out my listing.
