Vintage 1960’s California State University, Hayward; now known as California State University, East Bay, Varsity Basketball Letterman Jacket.
Colors: Off-white genuine leather, black, white, and red wool and a light gray lining. Two small holes under each armpit to allow airflow when worn.
Size: 46
Made by Lasley Knitting Co. of Seattle, Washington. (label inside of left pocket)
There is also apersonalized label “T.Gibbs” that is sewn inside the right pocket.
A brass basketball pin is attached to the Letterman
This coat belonged to my father who was a Captain for the CSU, Hayward basketball team back in the 60s. Make sure to examine the photos as this jacket is sold as it is. Please be aware that there are normal signs of wear and tear.
