Vintage if not antique Florentine wood , Reuge Swiss movement, Italian music box. Italian, gold painted, with light blue accents. Round shape, with picture of Madonna & Child in black & white. Behind the box red label identifies Maker, Movement, and Origin with music theme, Ave Maria-Gounod.
Condition: Overall excellent, soem signs of aging and distress on the black & white picture, and few nicks here, and there. The music plays when the knob turns gently, string requires pulling gently and delicately. Gradually, string will go up while music plays, and goes back on when the music stops, to its original form. "the item is sold as is", aged and fragile.
