One hand decorated glass ornament in the Fenton painted style featuring a dual sided cardinal and pine tree motif. Interior of the ornament is partially filled with hand pulled, thin strands of white and green glass (stringers) to add texture and depth.
Ornament is flat and round, and was purchased for the purpose of decorating (not made by Fenton/in USA) and cap is base metal. Please be aware cap is removable, so you can discard contents or refill if you like. Thin strands of glass can be sharp so please be careful if you choose to remove the cap.
The enamel paint is durable and has been fused to the surface of the glass via heating to almost 1100° F creating a design that will not fade. Decorated in the USA prior to closure of Fenton Glass Jewelry Philadelphia manufacturing location. Fenton Glass Jewelry is/was an offshoot of Fenton glass originally located in West Virginia prior to closure of Fenton plant.
