Vintage Brass Lantern Pierced Moroccan Hanging Lamp Candle Holder Antique Lamp
This is for a large Antique Large Moroccan Traditional pierced solid brass hanging lantern. The decorative brass is aged and has original patina and was slightly cleaned to remove dust. The shape is reminiscent of a tear drop and can be hung by the top ring or chain added to lengthen it.
This is for a single shaped - hanging candle / tea light / push on light holder. Items like these are usually from Turkey, Persia, Morocco, but they are also referred to as Oajar, Islamic, and Mosque lamps. What is clear is they are Middle Eastern metalwork.
This beautiful piece would have been hand crafted in the late 1890's to early 1900's.
